Overview & Highlights
Grumeti Game Reserve is an ultra-exclusive 140,000-acre (350,000-acre Singita Grumeti concession) private wilderness bordering the Western Corridor of the Serengeti National Park. Established in 1994 and restored through one of Africa's most visionary conservation partnerships with the Grumeti Fund, the reserve protects the vital western path of the Great Migration. Every May to July, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras thunder across its rolling acacia savannahs to cross the crocodile-filled pools of the Grumeti River. Because it is a private reserve, guests enjoy privileges prohibited in national parks: off-road predator tracking, spotlight night game drives, guided walking safaris, horseback safaris, and world-renowned Singita lodges.
